E-7 visa details

Hello, When reading the requirements for the E-7 visa, it says that you need either: a master's degree, or a bachelor's degree plus one year of experience, or five years of relevant work experience. Is an equivalent to a bachelor's degree acceptable? I have a diploma that is considered equivalent to a bachelor's degree in my country. Has anyone successfully obtained an E-7 visa with such an equivalent qualification? Thank you.
