Returning to Korea on an E-7 visa: has anyone applied from overseas?

I used to work in Korea and I’ve been thinking about coming back, this time aiming for a more stable, skilled job through an E-7 visa. Right now I’m living outside Korea, so I’m wondering how realistic it is to apply for an E-7 from abroad. Has anyone here actually gone through the process while living overseas, especially after already working in Korea before? Did you apply straight from your home country, or did you secure a job offer first and go from there? Would really appreciate any tips on how the process works and what to prep for.

How can I make my language skills stand out if I don’t have visa sponsorship (yet)?

I’m currently job hunting in Korea on a D-10 visa. I've got TOPIK level 5 and some experience in Korean-English interpretation, but I’ve noticed that a lot of companies seem to prefer candidates who already have a visa. In your experience, how much do Korean language skills actually help when you're still looking for visa sponsorship? And is there any way to make strong language skills stand out more, even if you don’t have a visa yet? Any tips or strategies would be super appreciated, thanks in advance! 🙏

E-7 visa details

Hello, When reading the requirements for the E-7 visa, it says that you need either: a master's degree, or a bachelor's degree plus one year of experience, or five years of relevant work experience. Is an equivalent to a bachelor's degree acceptable? I have a diploma that is considered equivalent to a bachelor's degree in my country. Has anyone successfully obtained an E-7 visa with such an equivalent qualification? Thank you.

D-10 연장 시 반드시 체재비 입증을 해야 하나요?

안녕하세요. 현재 D-10 비자로 한 기업에서 인턴십을 하고 있는 구직자입니다. 현재 근무하고 있는 곳에서 6개월 동안 인턴 근무하는 것을 희망하고 있으나, 제 D-10 비자 종료일이 6월 12일까지라 D-10 비자 연장 후, 인턴십 신고를 해야하는 상황입니다. 하지만, D-10 비자 연장시 체류비 입증을 해야하는 것으로 알고 있는데, 저는 가족들로부터 어떠한 금전적인 도움도 받을 수 없는 상황입니다. 체류비 입증 없이 D-10 연장을 할 수 있는 방법이 없을까요?
